Kyohei : I told her not to run away like I was better than her. As if I wasn’t running away from my hometown.
Master : Thinking about ‘running away’ makes it into a big deal. Just think of it as getting a little lost.
Kyohei : Lost?
Master : Yes. Life is full of times when you get lost. If you’re lost, rest a bit. When you feel better, you can start moving forward.
Master : So how to feel better again?
Kyohei : Think of that yourself.

If she had confidence in herself, then she can be courageous. As she does, she’ll begin to undestand what sort of face she wanna present to the world as an adult. But until then, she’ll wory and get more and more lost. (Aunt Nakahara, Episode 7)
Life… is like being lost. The more you struggle, the more confused you get about what path to take. And that’s scary. Everyone looks like an enemy at that point. You think you’re alone in this world. But if you really get lost, all you can do is wait for someone to come get you. The people who care about you will always come and get you. You have to believe that.
Everyone is working hard to live a full life, right? You just have to keep trying.
(Kyohei, Episode 7)

Kyohei : Including the parents who never bring up the child? (Episode 9)

How do you say goodbye to someone you can’t imagine living without?
I didn’t say goodbye… I didn’t say anything. I just walked away.
The last few days, I’ve been learning not to trust people. And I’m glad I’ve failed. Sometimes we depend on other people as a mirror to define us, and tell us who we are. And each reflection makes me like myself a little more. Desti Utami.
